Things you must understand about this tour.

first of all you expected to get yourself to Venice and home again, you must provide your own transportation. I will be posting what I feel is the best way to get from Calif. to Venice Italy. Read my writeup on traveling in Europe. I will be posting how to get on the trains and using the local light rail. you do not need to get a cab the light rail works best. Each day the rides will be put on as a group ride but you will be expected to be self supported. all rides are out and back and we will be getting together for lunch near the halfway point. There will be no support vehicle. You do not half to ride everyday and feel free to go out and explore.

I will not be providing any food. Most of the places we will be staying will have a refrigerator and there is stores nearby. We will find places to eat and drink around the halfway point of each ride and we will be going out to dinner each night.

Hotels

Everyone is expected to book their own Hotel, I have listed the hotels that we are staying in. you can choose to stay in the same hotel or choose your own. The reason that I have chosen these hotels is that they have no early cancelation fees. Please down load the GPX ride info I would hate for you to get lost. you do not have to ride everyday nor do you have to ride the same route as everyone else. I am posting a number of extra routes for your choosing but I have selected the best for the group each day. I have not rode any of these routes and don’t know them , so we will get lost together. I have also selected a lunch stop each day I will try to merge some of the easer routes with the most difficult routes so that we can have lunch on the mountain top together.

Money 

Do not carry a lot of cash over to Europe. Carry just enough to eat and drink on the way there. Once you get to Italy just go to any ATM and take out some euros. Most places will not take US dollars if they do that will overcharge you to cover the exchange rate. 

NOTE: all GPX files will be updated before the trip so do not bother downloading them now. I will be adding lunch stops and cleaning up the routes. I will also be adding extra routes for those that wish to take shorter rides.
